仕事内容
The Lead Engineer will lead the overall platform software team, which is expanding with a focus on non-Japanese engineers.
The Lead Engineer will also drive the planning and architecture design of the overall platform products, while collaborating with the business team to interpret and understand customer requirements.
Current projects include:
- Developing a Gateway(*) to connect the NFC/RCS API to our NFC/RCS for the Internet supermarket system and the instant delivery system.
- * Gateway is platform system to allow retailers to track customer orders in real time at 100+ stores with 100+ orders per store each day, while simultaneously tracking inventory at each store in real time and reflecting this information in the retailer's Netsuper system.
- Developing analytical and proposal tools based on the data acquired by Gateway
- Developing consumer-oriented systems such as commerce platforms, mobile apps, and kiosk terminals
The Lead Engineer of the Platform Team will also lead the development of commerce platforms and apps for online supermarkets and instant delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead a culturally diverse team of platform engineers
Work with various teams (business development, robotics engineers, automation engineers, AI engineers, etc.)
Design, develop, and evaluate Gateway to link client systems with NFC/RCS
Design, develop, and evaluate commerce platforms, mobile apps, and kiosk terminal systems
Design, develop, and evaluate analysis tools that analyze data acquired by Gateway and support improvement of sales and operational efficiency of stores and EC.
Design, develop, and evaluate other related and derivative systems
Development environment
Language / Framework ：TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Kotlin, Flutter, Serverless Framework
DB ：PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
Cloud ：Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
Other ：PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
We plan to define and modify the development environment and architecture together with the lead engineer.

・3+ years of experience in software development
・Experience in building microservice architectures
・Interest in the retail industry
・English: Business level or above
・Japanese language skill is not required.
